At Pici AI, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and authentication credentials
• Profile Information: Optional profile details such as name and preferences
• Photos and Images: Images you upload or capture within the app for AI processing, editing, and transformation
• User Content: Any content you create, share, or store within the app

1.2 Information Automatically Collected

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information
• Usage Data: App usage patterns, features used, time spent in app, and crash reports
• Analytics Data: Performance metrics and user interaction data for app improvement, collected via Firebase Analytics
• Advertising Identifier (IDFA/GAID): With your permission (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, or based on your device settings on Android), we may collect your advertising identifier to deliver personalized advertisements. You may withdraw this permission at any time in your device settings

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: Provide AI-powered photo editing, beautification, and style transformation services
• Account Management: Create and manage your user account and authenticate users
• App Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
• Advertising: Display advertisements within the app. With your consent, we may show personalized ads based on your advertising identifier. Without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown
• Customer Support: Respond to your requests, questions, and provide technical support
• Security: Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, crashes (via Firebase Crashlytics), and fraudulent activities
• Communications: Send important updates, security alerts, and promotional content (with your consent)
• Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws and regulations

3. AI Processing and Your Photos

Additional details about photo processing:

• No storage on our server: Your photo passes through our server on its way to AILabTools; we do not keep a copy of it
• Results you save: Results you save to Pici are stored in your account's cloud storage (Google Firebase) until you delete them or delete your account
• Results you download: Downloads are saved to your device's gallery and stay under your control
• No Human Review: Your photos are processed automatically; our team does not view your personal images
• No AI Training: We do not use your photos to train AI models

4. Advertising and Tracking

• On iOS: Before collecting your advertising identifier, the app will show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt asking for your permission. If you grant permission, personalized ads may be shown. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown and your IDFA is not used for ad targeting
• On Android: You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's Google settings
• What AdMob collects: Advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and app usage data for the purpose of serving and measuring ads
• You can review Google's data practices at policies.google.com/privacy and Google AdMob's policies at support.google.com/admob

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your information only with the following service providers, and only as necessary to deliver the app's features:

5.1 Third-Party Service Providers

• AILabTools — AI image processing (see Section 3). Website: ailabtools.com
• RevenueCat, Inc. — Manages subscriptions and credit pack purchases: it receives your purchase receipts and your account's user ID to tell the app which plan you have. It does not receive your payment card details. Privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — Authentication (Firebase Auth), database (Firestore), cloud storage, app performance monitoring (Firebase Crashlytics), remote configuration (Firebase Remote Config), push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), analytics (Firebase Analytics), and the server functions that forward photos for AI processing (Cloud Functions). • Google AdMob (Google LLC) — In-app advertising. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Sign-In (Google LLC) — Optional authentication method. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple Inc. — In-app purchases and subscriptions on iOS are processed by Apple via the App Store. Privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
• Google Play (Google LLC) — In-app purchases and subscriptions on Android are processed by Google via Google Play. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Each of these third-party providers has their own privacy policy and provides the same or equivalent level of data protection as required by applicable law.

5.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest using industry-standard protocols
• Access Controls: Strict access controls limit who can access your data
• Secure Infrastructure: Use of secure cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase) with enterprise-grade security
• Crash Monitoring: Firebase Crashlytics is used to detect and fix app crashes to maintain stability and security

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access and Control

• Account Access: View and update your account information at any time within the app
• Data Deletion: Delete your account in the app at any time (Profile → Delete Account): your account, profile and saved results are erased. You can also request deletion by contacting us at pixip@pixip.tech
• Opt-out of Tracking (iOS): You can change your ATT tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• Opt-out of Personalized Ads (Android): Go to Google Settings > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Opt-out of Communications: Unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the email

7.2 App Permissions

• Camera: Access your camera to take photos for AI processing (optional; you can use the photo library instead)
• Photo Library: Access your photo library to select images for AI processing
• Tracking (iOS only): Access your advertising identifier for personalized ads (optional; you can decline the ATT prompt)
• Internet: Required for AI processing, authentication, and app functionality

8. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Pici AI offers optional subscription plans (weekly, monthly and annual) and one-time credit packs. Purchases are processed entirely by Google (Google Play) or Apple (App Store), and managed through RevenueCat (see Section 5.1). We do not collect or store your payment card information. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase and your subscription status. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Google Play or App Store account settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers (Google, RevenueCat, AILabTools) operate. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that our service providers implement appropriate safeguards.

11. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active, or until you request deletion
• Photos: Not kept on our server after processing; results you save to Pici are kept until you delete them or your account
• Analytics Data: Retained for up to 2 years for app improvement purposes
• Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
