1.2 Information Automatically Collected

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information
• Usage Data: App usage patterns, features used, time spent in app, and crash reports
• Analytics Data: Performance metrics and user interaction data for app improvement, collected via Firebase Analytics
• Advertising Identifier (IDFA/GAID): With your permission (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, or based on your device settings on Android), we may collect your advertising identifier to deliver personalized advertisements. You may withdraw this permission at any time in your device settings

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: Provide AI-powered photo editing, beautification, and style transformation services
• Account Management: Create and manage your user account and authenticate users
• App Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
• Advertising: Display advertisements within the app. With your consent, we may show personalized ads based on your advertising identifier. Without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown
• Customer Support: Respond to your requests, questions, and provide technical support
• Security: Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, crashes (via Firebase Crashlytics), and fraudulent activities
• Communications: Send important updates, security alerts, and promotional content (with your consent)
• Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws and regulations

3. AI Processing and Your Photos

Additional details about photo processing:

• Temporary Storage: Your image is temporarily uploaded to secure cloud storage (Amazon S3 via a pre-signed URL) solely to facilitate processing by the AI service
• Automatic Deletion: Processed images are automatically deleted from our servers within 30 days unless you explicitly save them to your account
• No Human Review: Your photos are processed automatically by AI; no human employees view your personal images
• No AI Training: Your photos are not used to train any AI models

4. Advertising and Tracking

• On iOS: Before collecting your advertising identifier, the app will show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt asking for your permission. If you grant permission, personalized ads may be shown. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown and your IDFA is not used for ad targeting
• On Android: You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's Google settings
• What AdMob collects: Advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and app usage data for the purpose of serving and measuring ads

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your information only with the following service providers, and only as necessary to deliver the app's features:

• Opt-out of Tracking (iOS): You can change your ATT tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• Opt-out of Personalized Ads (Android): Go to Google Settings > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Opt-out of Communications: Unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the email

7.2 App Permissions

• Camera: Access your camera to take photos for AI processing (optional; you can use the photo library instead)
• Photo Library: Access your photo library to select images for AI processing
• Tracking (iOS only): Access your advertising identifier for personalized ads (optional; you can decline the ATT prompt)
• Internet: Required for AI processing, authentication, and app functionality

8. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Pici AI offers optional subscription plans (monthly and annual). Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store your payment card information. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase and your subscription status from the respective platform. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers (Google, AWS, LightX Editor) operate. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that our service providers implement appropriate safeguards.

• Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active, or until you request deletion
• Photos: Automatically deleted from our servers within 30 days unless saved to your account
• Analytics Data: Retained for up to 2 years for app improvement purposes
• Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
