Salah — Prayer Times, Qibla & Dhikr

Effective Date: April 28, 2026
Last Updated: April 28, 2026

Welcome, and thank you for using Salah. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Pixip (“we”, “us”, “our”) regarding your use of the Salah mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By installing or using Salah, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You may use Salah if you can form a binding contract with Pixip under the laws of your country. If you are using the Service on behalf of a household member, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

2. The Service

Salah provides:

The Service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use, supported by in-app advertising.

3. Religious Information — Important Notice

Salah is a guidance tool, not a religious authority. Prayer times are calculated from third-party data and astronomical formulas; the qibla bearing depends on your device's sensors and reported location accuracy. You are responsible for verifying critical religious times — especially around fasting (suhoor / iftar) — against your local mosque, official Diyanet announcements or other trusted sources.

Hijri dates produced by Salah use a tabular Islamic calendar that may differ by ±1 day from observation-based local calendars. For ritually significant dates such as Ramadan, Eid and Ashura, please defer to your local religious authority.

4. Accuracy of Sensors and Data

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

6. Advertising

Salah is supported by in-app advertising via Google AdMob. Free-tier users may see banner ads on the Home, Calendar and Settings screens. You can choose between personalized and non-personalized ads in the app's Settings (and via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS). See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Intellectual Property

Salah, the Pixip logo and all original content, design, and code in the Service are the property of Pixip and are protected by copyright, trademark and other applicable laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Salah on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Prayer-time data is © the relevant rights-holder of the upstream feed (Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı). Arabic religious phrases (e.g. Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah) are public-domain religious text.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services as set out in our Privacy Policy, including:

Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the operation or policies of third parties.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OF DATA AND TIMELINESS.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT (a) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, (b) PRAYER TIMES OR QIBLA BEARINGS ARE EXACT, OR (c) THE APP WILL MEET YOUR PARTICULAR RELIGIOUS REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE VERIFY CRITICAL TIMES WITH YOUR LOCAL MOSQUE OR THE OFFICIAL DIYANET PUBLICATIONS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PIXIP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OUR LIABILITY FOR (a) DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, (b) FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION, OR (c) ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Pixip and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service in breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions which by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–11, 13–15) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Istanbul, Türkiye shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that you may bring claims in your country of residence to the extent required by mandatory local law.

15. Apple App Store Additional Terms

If you obtained Salah via the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Pixip only, not with Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. To the extent these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA for App Store apps (the LSEULA), the LSEULA prevails for that limited conflict only.
